STEAK WITH CITRUS MARINADE | |
1/4 cup orange juice 1 tsp. fresh oregano leaves 1 tsp. coarse California style garlic powder or 4 cloves crushed garlic 1/2 tsp. ground cumin 1 tbsp. soy sauce juice of 1/2 fresh lime or lemon (about 2 tbsp.) 2 tbsp. vegetable, peanut or olive oil 1 1/2 to 2 lb boneless ribeye steak In a small bowl, combine orange juice, oregano, garlic, cumin, soy sauce, citrus juice and oil. Place steak in a plastic zipper bag. Add marinade; shake or turn to coat. Refrigerate in bag for 30-60 minutes. Remove steak from marinade and grill on medium-high for 6 to 8 minutes per side or until meat thermometer in center registers 145°F. Remove from heat and allow to stand for 5 minutes before slicing. 6 Servings. PREP TIME: 5 MIN. REFRIGERATE: 30 MIN. COOK TIME: 16 MIN.
