TOSSED SALAD FOR A CROWD 
3 lg. heads iceberg lettuce (8 qts.)
1 med. head romaine
1/2 sm. head chicory
4 med. tomatoes, cut up
1 to 1 1/2 c. favorite pourable salad dressing
1 med. onion, thinly sliced and separated into rings

In chilled, large salad bowl or 10 quart saucepot, tear iceberg lettuce, romaine and chicory into bite size pieces. Add tomatoes and dressing. To serve, spoon into individual salad bowls. Top servings with onion rings. Makes about 8 quarts or twenty-four 1 1/3 cup servings.
