BOOZED BEANS | |
1/2 lb. thick sliced beans, cut into 2 inch lengths, fried crisp and drain 4 (1 lb. 3 oz. each) cans baked beans 1/4 tsp. ground ginger 1/4 c. strong coffee 1/2 c. dark brown sugar 2 tsp. dry mustard Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Remove from oven and stir in 1/2 cup dark rum or bourbon. Cut pineapple slices in half and arrange in top. Return to the oven and bake uncovered for 25 minutes. |
