SAUSAGE BREAD 
1 (1 lb.) loaf frozen bread dough, thawed
1 lb. bulk sausage
1 med. onion, chopped
1 med. green bell pepper, chopped
1/2 c. fresh mushrooms, chopped
1 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
1 c. Mozzarella cheese, grated
1 egg, beaten

Let bread thaw and rise as package directs. In medium sized skillet brown sausage, onions, bell pepper and mushrooms. Drain the liquid. Roll bread dough flat on floured surface with rolling pin. Place on lightly greased cookie sheet. Spread half the sausage mixture down the center of the dough. Sprinkle half of the two cheeses over the top. Repeat. Fold dough over and tuck ends. Brush with beaten egg. Bake at 375 degrees until brown, about 20 minutes. Good with picante sauce. Makes 16 servings. When this bread is baked the center splits slightly to reveal the goodies inside.
