BLACKBERRY COBBLER 
SYRUP:

1 c. sugar
1 c. water

DOUGH:

1 1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
2 1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. butter
1/3 c. milk
2 c. blackberries

DOUGH: Mix dry ingredients. Add milk. Knead and roll out to 9 x 14 inch rectangle. Spread blackberries over dough. Sprinkle with 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon. Roll up like jellyroll. Cut into slices like cinnamon roll. Arrange over melted butter. Pour sugar syrup carefully around dough. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour 15 minutes. Sprinkle on 2 tablespoons sugar before removing from oven.
