SOUR CREAM RAISIN BARS 
2 c. raisins
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. butter
1 3/4 c. quick oatmeal
1 tsp. baking soda
1 3/4 c. flour
3 beaten egg yolks
1 1/2 c. sour cream
1 c. sugar
2 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. vanilla

Cook raisins in a little water for 10 minutes, drain and cool. Cream sugar and butter, add oatmeal, soda, and flour. Mix well and pat half of mixture in 9x13 inch pan and bake 7 minutes at 350 degrees.

In heavy saucepan, cook 3 beaten egg yolks, sour cream, sugar and cornstarch until thick, stirring constantly. Add raisins, vanilla, and pour over crust. Add other half of crumbs to top and bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Egg whites could be beaten for meringue, if desired.
