SOUR CREAM RAISIN BARS 
2 c. raisins
Water
1 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 3/4 c. quick oatmeal
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. cornstarch
3 egg yolks
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla

Place raisins and enough water to cover in a saucepan. Cook until raisins are soft, about 2 minutes. Drain raisins and set aside.

Cream butter and brown sugar. Add oatmeal, flour, and soda. Pat half the mixture into bottom of a 9x13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.

Blend together the sugar, salt, cornstarch, egg yolks, and sour cream. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils. Remove from heat, add vanilla and cooked raisins. Pour over crust and sprinkle remaining crust mixture on top. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
