SOUR CREAM RAISIN PIE 
1 pt. sour cream
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. allspice
1 tbsp. flour
3 egg yolks (slightly beaten)
1/8 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. raisins
1 tsp. vanilla
1 baked pie shell
3 egg whites
6 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. cream of tartar

Combine sour cream, 1/2 cup sugar, spices, flour, egg yolks, salt and raisins. Cook over hot water until thick. Stir occasionally. Stir in vanilla. Cool and pour into baked pie shell.

Make meringue by combining egg whites, 6 tablespoons sugar, 1 teaspoon cream of tartar. Beat until stiff. Pour over filling. Bake until light brown (350 degrees, 10-12 minutes).
