CHERRY RHUBARB DESSERT 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. water
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 can cherry pie filling
4 c. rhubarb

CRUMB MIXTURE:

1 c. oatmeal
1 c. flour
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter

Boil sugar (1 1/2 cups white) and water, thicken with cornstarch (mix cornstarch with a little water before adding to sugar and water mixture). Add can of cherry pie filling; mix together.

Crumb Mixture: Mix oatmeal, brown sugar, flour and butter together. Put 1/2 in a greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Put 4 cups diced rhubarb on top crumb mixture. Put cherry mixture on top, add the rest of crumb mixture. Bake 45 minutes at 325 degrees.
