EASY HOT ROLLS 
2 pkgs. dry yeast
2 c. lukewarm water
1 tsp. salt
4 tbsp. butter flavored shortening (melted)
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg (beaten)
6-7 c. flour

Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add remaining ingredients except flour. Beat in flour, one cup at a time. Place dough in greased bowl and let rise in warm place until doubled. Punch down and knead a few times until smooth.

Pinch and set in freezer until hard, then put in tight fitting plastic bowl and leave in freeze. Take out what is needed, let rise again and bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. About 3 dozen.
