Makes 1 ice cream pail full and keeps up to 1 year. Stir at least one a month.

12 c. cukes, sliced
2 c. green pepper, sliced (optional)
2 c. onion, sliced
1/2 c. salt

Combine above ingredients with ice cubes. Let stand 2 hours. Drain. Mix:

4 c. sugar
2 c. vinegar
1 tsp. celery seed

Combine with drained cukes and mix. Store in covered ice cream pail in refrigerator.
