DIVINITY CANDY 
3 c. sugar
2/3 c. Karo
1/3 c. water
Pinch of salt
3 egg whites, beaten until very stiff
1 tsp. almond extract
2 tsp. vanilla extract
Food coloring, if desired
1 c. pecans, broken in sm. pieces

Combine first 4 ingredients and cook until syrup "spins a thread", constantly stirring. Add syrup slowly to egg whites, beating as you add. When divinity is almost firm, add rest of ingredients.
