AUNT MARTHA'S STRAWBERRY HONEY
(ICE CREAM TOPPING)
 
2 c. strawberries
2 c. water
6 c. sugar

Use large kettle, boil 3 minutes, add a pinch of powdered alum and boil 2 minutes. You can seal hot or let cool and freeze in plastic containers. Raspberries can also be used. Very good over ice cream.
