MEXICAN PECAN CANDY 
2 c. sugar
3/4 c. milk
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. pecan halves

Cook sugar, milk and soda until it forms ball. Remove from heat and add butter, vanilla and nuts. Beat until creamy and drop to form patties on wax paper over which salt has been sprinkled.
