CARROT PUDDING 
1/3 c. spry
3/4 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. dark corn syrup
1 egg
2 tbsp. water
1 c. raisins
1 c. grated raw carrots
Grated rind of 1 lemon
1/4 c. nuts, chopped
3/4 c. mixed fruit
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder

Blend spry, salt, and spices; add sugar and cream well. Add syrup and blend. Beat egg and water together; add to creamed mixtures and blend. Add carrots and fruit and nuts.

Sift flour, soda, and baking powder and add to first mixture blending well.
