INDIA RELISH 
1/2 doz. green peppers
1/2 bu green tomatoes
1 doz. onions

Chop all together. Sprinkle 1 pint salt. Let stand overnight. Drain off brine. Cover with vinegar. Cook slowly for 1 hour. Add 2 pounds brown sugar, 2 tablespoons cinnamon, 1 tablespoon allspice, 1 tablespoon pepper, and 1/2 cup mustard. Cook for few minutes. Add 1/2 ounce Turmeric powder.
