CHOCOLATE AND OAT BARS 
1 c. unsifted flour
1/2 c. butter, softened
14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
1 c. quick cooking oatmeal
3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350°F. Combine flour, oats, brown sugar and butter in bowl. Mix well. Reserve 1/2 cup and press remaining oat mixture on bottom of 9 X 13 pan.

Bake 10 minutes. Pour condensed milk on evenly over crust. Sprinkle with nuts and chocolate chips. Top with remaining oat mixture. Press down.

Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until lightly browned. Store covered at room temperature.
