BY CRACKY BARS 
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
3/4 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 beaten eggs
1/3 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 sq. melted chocolate
3/4 c. walnuts
3/4 c. chocolate chips
9 double graham crackers

Mix flour, salt and soda. Mix shortening and sugar, then add eggs, milk and vanilla. Add dry ingredients. Place 1/3 batter in separate bowl. Add 1 square melted chocolate and walnuts to remaining 3/4 of batter. Spread in bottom of greased 12 x 9 x 3 inch pan. Arrange 9 double graham crackers over batter. To reserved batter add 3/4 cup chocolate chips. Spoon and spread over graham crackers. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes at 375 degrees. Cool and cut into bars.
