CARAMEL PIE 
2 c. sugar
1 c. boiling water
4 eggs, separated - use whites for meringue
1/2 c. flour
2 c. cream
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Place 1 cup of sugar in iron skillet and melt, stirring constantly. Add water and cook until smooth. In another bowl, mix 1 cup of sugar and flour. Beat egg yolks, and add cream. Cook until thick, stirring constantly. Add salt and beat well.
