SQUASH & APPLE BAKE 
2 lb. butternut squash
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. butter, melted
1 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. mace
2 to 3 baking apples, cored & cut into 1/2 inch slices

Cut squash in half, remove seeds and pare. Cut into 1/2 inch slices. Stir together remaining ingredients (except apple slices). Arrange squash in 11 1/2 x 7 1/2 inch baking dish. Top with apple slices and spread with butter/sugar mixture over top. Cover with foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes or until squash is tender.
