SQUASH & APPLE BAKE 
2 lb. butternut squash
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1/4 c. butter, melted
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
2 baking apples (cored & cut into 1/2" slices)

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Cut squash in half. Remove seeds and fibers, peel. Cut into 1/2 inch slices. Arrange pieces of squash in 11 1/2 x 7 1/2 x 1 1/2 inch ungreased baking dish. Stir together remaining ingredients except apples slices and pour over squash. Add apple slices to pan and cover with foil. Bake 50-60 minutes.
