SWEET POTATO CASSEROLE | |
1 lg. can Trappey's canned sweet potatoes 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 c. butter 1/2 c. sugar (or to taste) 1/2 tsp. cinnamon (nutmeg optional) 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla Mash potatoes until creamy. Mix with other ingredients. Pour into greased casserole dish. TOPPING: Melt 1 stick butter in saucepan. Stir in 3 tablespoons flour. Add 3/4 cup brown sugar. Add 1/2 cup chopped pecans. Mix and spread over sweet potatoes mixture. Bake at 350 degrees until heated through and bubbly. |
