LEAH'S EASY-TO-MAKE HOMEMADE ICE
CREAM

This small-batch ice cream is great fun for kids to make and is good for birthday parties, dessert, or just to make on a rainy day. No ice-cream maker required!

1 gallon Ziploc bag
1 pint Ziploc bag
2 cups ice (approx)
6 tbsp. salt
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup whole milk

In the pint size Ziploc bag, put in milk, sugar and vanilla, then seal. In the gallon size ZipLoc bag, put in ice, and then add salt. Seal again. Put the pint size ZipLoc bag inside of the gallon ZipLoc bag. Turn gently.

Turn for about 5-10 minutes then check. It should look kind of pasty. When it looks pasty, take the pint size bag out of the gallon size one, and throw out the gallon size Ziploc. If it doesn't, keep turning until it does.

Eat the ice cream from the bag or quickly put into a container and stick into the refrigerator (optional). Enjoy!!!
