AMERICAN CHOP SUEY 
1 (8 oz.) pkg. macaroni (use uncooked)
2 lbs. hamburger, well browned
2 med. chopped onions, browned with hamburger
2 c. diced celery
2 cans tomato soup
2 soup cans hot water or 5 c. canned tomatoes
2 tsp. salt
Pepper to taste
1/4 c. soy sauce
1 c. grated cheese

Brown hamburger and onions; add celery and cook slightly. Place mixture in large baking dish; pour macaroni over meat mixture. Put buttered crumbs or crushed Wheaties over; pour soup-water mixture over. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Remove cover; stir in cheese. Continue baking uncovered until golden brown. (Might need more liquid.)
