AMERICAN CHOP SUEY | |
1/2 lb. elbow macaroni 3/4 c. chopped onion 2 cloves minced garlic 1 c. chopped green peppers 1/2 c. butter 1/2 c. flour 1 1/2 tbsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 1 lb. ground beef 2 c. tomatoes 1 c. sliced mushrooms Cook macaroni according to package. Saute onion, garlic, and green pepper in butter for 5 minutes. Add flour and seasonings; continue to cook until mixture begins to brown. Add ground beef; cook for 10 minutes. Add tomatoes and mushrooms; cook for 10 minutes. Pour sauce over cooked macaroni and toss. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. |
