PECAN FRUIT CAKE | |
1 lb. butter 6 eggs 1/2 c. candied pineapple 1 1/2 lb. chopped pecans 2 c. sugar 4 c. self-rising flour 1/2 c. candied cherries 1 tsp. vanilla Cream butter and sugar together. Add beaten eggs, 3 cups flour and mix remaining flour with pineapple and cherries, cut real fine, mix all ingredients together. Bake at 250 degrees about 1 hour until brown. Test with a straw in center. Use tube pan. |
