SLAVONIC STEAK 
1 (3 lb.) piece beef tenderloin
1 c. vegetable oil
1/4 c. Italian herb seasoning
1 c. butter
5 cloves garlic, minced

Put beef in glass casserole or baking dish. Combine oil and herb seasoning. Pour over meat. Cover and marinate for 1 hour, turning occasionally. Slice beef to desired thickness. Lightly saute garlic in butter in large heavy skillet. Saute beef in garlic butter to desired degree of doneness. Makes 6 servings.
