SKILLET PEACH CAKE | |
1/4 c. butter 3/4 c. brown sugar 1 c. nuts 1 c. sliced peaches 2 eggs 1/4 tsp. salt 1 c. white sugar 1/2 c. milk 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tbsp. butter Melt 1/4 cup butter in 9" skillet. Add 3/4 c. brown sugar and 1 cup nuts. Arrange 1 cup slices peaches. Then beat 2 eggs gradually adding 1/4 teaspoon salt and 1 cup sugar. Add 1/2 cup milk, 1 tablespoon butter, 1 teaspoon vanilla and mix. Blend 1 cup flour and 1 teaspoon baking powder. Pour batter over fruit and bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes. Serve upside down with whipped cream. |
