No Bake Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies

I tried this recipe and I loved it. The cookies turned out very chocolately and it was not as sweet as other recipes that I had tried. I will be using this one from now on. As a side note, I did boil it for three minutes and it hardened well for me.

I never boil more than a minute - it always turns out dry and crumbly. You have to make sure that you time it one minute once it starts to boil. Also adding coconut is a must at our house.

I, too paid attention to the comments listed above and boiling them for more than a minute does make them dry and crumbly, I had to throw most of it away. I tried again, boiling only for one minute, as the recipe calls for and they were delicious!!

I couldn't exactly remember everything as I was taught by my aunt...this was a great refresher. For fun, and because I like peanut butter, I added a little extra. They were great!
