1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 egg, beaten
1 c. soft bread cubes
1/2 c. milk
3 to 4 tbsp. Heinz 57 sauce
1 tsp. salt and pepper

Combine ingredients. Shape into a loaf in a shallow 9 x 4 x 1 1/2 inch pan. Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour. Let meat loaf stand 5 minutes before slicing.
