BEST PEACH COBBLER 
Canned or fresh peaches (8 or 9)
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. lemon juice
3 tbsp. butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk

TOPPING:

1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. boiling water

Slice peaches to cover 9-inch pie pan. Sprinkle with cinnamon and lemon juice. Cream butter and sugar. Sift flour, baking powder, and salt. Alternately add flour mixture and 1/2 cup milk to creamed mixture.

Combine sugar and cornstarch. Sprinkle over top. Pour boiling water over top of all. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
