UPSIDE - DOWN GERMAN CHOCOLATE
CAKE
 
1 box German chocolate cake mix
1 1/2 c. coconut
1 1/2 c. pecans, crushed
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 box powdered sugar
1 stick butter

Grease and flour a 9 x 13 inch cake pan. Line with wax paper and sprinkle the coconut and pecans onto the paper. Prepare a boxed German chocolate cake mix or use your own favorite recipe. Pour the batter over the coconut and pecans. Cream together the cream cheese, powdered sugar and butter. Spoon this mixture over the cake batter. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven until done. Cool about 15 to 20 minutes and turn upside down on a platter.
