GERMAN CHOCOLATE PIE | |
1 pkg. German sweet chocolate 1 1/2 c. sugar 3 tbsp. cornstarch 1/4 c. butter 1 can evaporated milk 2 eggs, beaten 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. pecans 1/4 c. coconut Melt chocolate and butter on low heat. Mix sugar and cornstarch together. Add milk and eggs, beat well. Mix together with chocolate. Add vanilla. Pour into 9 inch deep dish pie crust. Sprinkle pecans and coconut on top. Bake 45-50 minutes at 375 degrees. Pie will crack open when done. Cool completely before cutting. |
