CRANBERRY DESSERT (OR APPLES) 
2 c. cranberries (apples may be substituted)
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. chopped nuts
2 eggs
1 c. flour
1 tsp. almond extract
3/4 c. melted butter

Mix cranberries, 1/2 cup of sugar and nuts together and spread into a well greased square pan. Beat eggs, remaining 1 cup of sugar, flour, almond extract and butter. Blend well and pour over cranberry mixture. Bake about 25 minutes at 350 degrees.
