MEXICAN CHEF SALAD 
1 onion
4 tomatoes
1 head lettuce
4 oz. grated Cheddar cheese
8 oz. Thousand Island or French Dressing
1 bag Doritos Tortilla Chips (plain or taco)
1 lg. avocado
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 tsp. salt
Picante sauce to taste

Chop 1 onion, 4 tomatoes, 1 head lettuce. Toss with 4 ounce grated Cheddar cheese and 8 ounce salad dressing.

Crunch and add tortilla chips; slice and add 1 large avocado.

Brown 1 pound ground beef with 1/2 teaspoon salt. Simmer 10 minutes and mix into cold salad. (Do this last so meat isn't refrigerated.) Add picante sauce to individual taste.
