MOLASSES STACK CAKE 
1 1/2 c. molasses
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. ginger
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. buttermilk
4-5 c. plain or self-rising flour
1/3 c. oil

Mix all dry ingredients first in large bowl. Then add oil, eggs, molasses and buttermilk like you are making biscuit dough. When well mixed, divide dough into 5 or 6 even size balls. Pat 1 dough ball into greased pan or iron skillet. Bake each layer in 450 degree oven about 5 minutes. Cool. Stack layers with cooked apples with a touch of cinnamon.
