GRANDMA'S APPLE CRISP 
I always make double batch. And top with whip cream or topping.

6 apples, any kind, peeled, scored, sliced
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 egg
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, melted
cinnamon, for sprinkling

Place sliced apples in oven proof container. In separate container, sift together flour, sugar, salt and baking powder. Stir in egg in mixture till it crumbles. Sprinkle over apples. Pour melted butter over crumbles. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake at 350°F until apples are tender (about 30-40 minutes).
