PUMPKIN PIE SQUARES 
1 c. sifted flour
1/2 c. oats
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter

TOPPING:

1/2 c. chopped pecans
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. butter

FILLING:

1 (1 lb.) can pumpkin (2 c.)
1 (13 1/2 oz.) can evaporated milk
2 eggs
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. cloves

Combine flour, oats, brown sugar, and butter. Press into ungreased 13 x 9 inch. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Combine pumpkin, milk, eggs, sugar, salt, spices; blend well. Pour into crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Combine nuts, brown sugar, and butter. Sprinkle over until set. Cool. Cut into 2 inch squares. Makes 2 dozen.
