DUNDEE OATMEAL COOKIES 
1 c. Crisco, butter or both
3/4 c. white sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
2 eggs (mix all the above together well)
3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice (optional)
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/3 c. sour milk or cream
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. rolled oats added after flour mixture
1/2 to 2/3 c. nutmeats
1 c. dates or raisins or some of both - add these last

Mix first four ingredients together. in separate bowl mix flour, salt, cinnamon, allspice and baking soda. Mix second bowl with first bowl of ingredients. Add remaining ingredients one at a time. Drop by teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes.
