BRAN MUFFINS 
2 c. whole wheat flour
1/2 c. brown or raw sugar
3/4 c. sour milk or cream
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1 egg
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Mix dry ingredients, then add beaten egg, and remaining ingredients. Mix quickly. Pour in muffin tins and bake at 400-425 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Can also add nuts, raisins or dates.
