HOT SPICED CIDER 
1 tsp. whole cloves
1 stick cinnamon 93 inches)
1 tsp. whole allspice
2 qts. apple cider
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 orange, if desired
Whole cloves, if desired

1. Tie 1 teaspoon whole cloves, the cinnamon and allspice in small cloth bag. Mix cider, sugar and salt in large saucepan; add spice bag.

2. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 20 minutes. Remove spice bag to serve. Stud orange with whole cloves; place in cider. Makes 12 servings, about 1/3 cup each.
