PEAR RELISH 
1 gal. ground pears
1/2 gal ground onions
10 sweet green peppers, ground
4 sweet red peppers, ground
4 hot peppers, ground
2 c. salt
2 quarts vinegar
2 tbsp. turmeric
4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. white mustard seed (if mustard seed are not available celery seeds will do)

Cook syrup 5 minutes then add ground mixture. Simmer together for 5 minutes. Pour into hot jars, and seal.
