DEMP'S PEAR RELISH 
1 gal. peeled and chopped pears
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 green bell pepper
3/4 to 1 c. vinegar
1 red bell pepper
3 to 4 (each) red and green hot peppers

Bring to boil. Simmer, covered, approximately 1 hour. Then can.
