SWEET AND SOUR SAUCE 
1/2 c. pineapple juice
1/2 c. white wine vinegar
2 tbsp. peanut oil
2 tbsp. packed light brown sugar
1 tsp. soy sauce
1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
2 tsp. cornstarch, mixed with 4 tsp. water

Mix first 6 ingredients in pot; bring to a boil at 225 degrees. Stir cornstarch mixture; add to pot, stirring until sauce is clear and slightly thickened. Make approximately 1 1/4 cups. Preparation time, 5 minutes.
