MICROWAVE DIVINITY 
3 c. sugar
1/2 c. light syrup
2/3 c. water
1/4 tsp. salt
2 egg whites
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts

Cook sugar, syrup and water for 12 minutes and 15 seconds. Add salt to egg whites and beat until stiff. Pour hot mixture in a thin stream into the egg whites while beating continuously. Beat until mixture loses its shine and thickens. Add vanilla and nuts; drop at once by teaspoonful on waxed paper.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
