ITALIAN MEAT PIE 
PIE:

1 lb. ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 tsp. salt (may decrease)
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
1/4 tsp. dill seed
1/4 tsp. caraway seed
6 oz. can tomato paste
1 can crescent rolls
1 pkg. Mozzarella cheese

SAUCE:

6 oz. can tomato paste
1/4 lb. butter
3/4 c. water
1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning

PIE: Brown meat and onion. Drain drippings. Add salt, pepper and seasonings. Add tomato paste. Mix well. Spread crescent rolls in ungreased pie pan. Put in meat mixture. Completely cover meat with cheese. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.

SAUCE: Heat to boil (do not boil). Serve over meat pie.
