ITALIAN STEAK AND SAUSAGE
SANDWICH
 
2 tbsp. flour
1 (15 1/2 oz.) jar mushroom spaghetti sauce
1 each green and red pepper, cut in strips
2 med. onions, sliced
1 lb. Italian sausage, cut in 2-inch pieces
1 lb. round steak, cut in 1/4-inch strips
6 hard or Kaiser rolls
Shredded Mozzarella cheese

Shake flour in large size (14x20) oven cooking bag. Place in 13x9x2 baking pan. Roll down top of bag. Add all of the ingredients except the rolls and cheese. Squeeze bag gently to blend. Pat ingredients into an even layer. Unroll and close bag with nylon tie. Make 6 (1/2-inch) slits in top of bag.

Cook 1 1/2 hours in oven preheated to 325 degrees. Fill rolls and to with cheese.

Can use hot, medium, or mild sausage. Also may be doubled and frozen. Good over rice or pasta.
