CARAMEL BARS 
32 Kraft caramels
4 tsp. cream
1 cup oatmeal
1 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 tsp. baking soda
3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) butter
1 cup chocolate chips

Melt the caramels and cream in double boiler. Mix the oatmeal, flour, brown sugar, baking soda and butter together. Take half of mixture; pat in a 9x13-inch pan. Bake at 350°F for 5 minutes. Don't overbake.

Drizzle caramel mixture over crust. Sprinkle the chocolate chips over the caramel mixture, then put rest of flour mixture over chips. Bake another 5 minutes. Cool.
