1 lb. beef, cut in pieces
1 lg. onion, chopped
2 potatoes, cut-up
2 carrots, cut-up
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 c. beef broth
Salt and pepper, to taste

Mix all ingredients. Bake in casserole dish (covered) 300 degree oven for about 2 1/2 or 3 hours.
