BUTTERMILK SALAD DRESSING MIX 
1/4 c. dried parsley
3 tbsp. dried minced onion
2 tsp. dried chives
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. ground celery seed
1/4 tsp. black pepper

Put all into small mixing bowl and stir with spoon until well mixed. Put into a jar and refrigerate until ready to use.

To Finish: For 1 cup dressing use 1 tablespoon of mix, 1/2 cup mayonnaise and 1/2 cup buttermilk. Shake very well, refrigerate unused portion.

NOTE: Stir dressing mix before measuring.

HINT: Buy a can of SACO cultured buttermilk powder and keep in refrigerator; you can make the dressing easily that way and it is good for other recipes.
